Our certified nurses promise to provide our patients with professional health care managment. SHHC has a variety of Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses staffed to aide in the patient's home health needs.

IV Therapy

Intravenous therapy or IV therapy is the giving of liquid substances directly into a vein. It can be intermittent or continuous; continuous administration is called an intravenous drip. The word intravenous simply means "within a vein", but is most commonly used to refer to IV therapy. Compared with other routes of administration, the intravenous route is the fastest way to deliver fluids and medications throughout the body. We provide patients and their family with the knowledge needed to properly and successfully administrate an IV.

Tube Feedings

Nutrients, either a special liquid formula or pureed food, are delivered to a patient through a tube directly into the gastrointestinal tract, usually into the stomach or small intestine. Our highly trained nursing staff will provide proper education and assistance to the patients tube feeding needs.

Wound Care/Digital Imaging

We keep patients updated on today's most advance wound care techniques. We promise to provide the patient with properly administered wound care. We know that faster healing leads to a better lifestyle.

With the advent of technology, we are now able to expedite coordination of care. With Wound Site Digital Imaging, we can send the image digitally over the internet quickly and securely. The doctor is now able to instantly determine the steps to help our patients heal faster.
